My first visit to Magnolia Hotel Denver was nigh on 8 years ago. I recently re-visited in 2016 after another multi-million dollar renovation. How time flies, but what I’m happy to report is that the 2016 renovation upholds all the things that I loved about the Magnolia Hotel Denver all those years ago — and added some classy room upgrades.

Recently I was lucky to get a preview of the new Crawford Hotel in Denver’s renovated Union Station. The 112-room Crawford Hotel opened in July 2014 in the heart of Denver’s Lower Downtown neighborhood.

Baby blue cotton candy, corn dogs swirled in mustard, fresh popped popcorn, twirling merry-go-rounds, chatter of carnies, cheers of crowds during demolition derby. Smell of 4H livestock – which I call the “smell of money.” Summer is the best time to enjoy these festivals all across the country, including my own Colorado backyard at the family friendly Golden Buffalo Bill’s Days.

Telluride was in for a treat, when two of my best (and hottest!) biker mamas agreed to join me and two of our men for a road trip from Denver to southwest Colorado.
