A“backpacker” is someone who is taking a vacation or traveling for whatever reason but instead of carrying a suitcase and luggage carries everything in a backpack. Healthy skin is the dividend after many years of investing in persistent skincare.  So it is crucial to pack every essential travel skincare product with you. An effective daily moisturizer (with sunscreen) for your skin type will protect and make your skin look gorgeous.

 

To combat pollutants, backpack a gentle facial cleanser with no fragrance in your travel cosmetics bag. Cleansing wipes can be a lifesaver when you don’t have access to clean water. It can also be used to cool off if you feel overheated.

Pack Multipurpose Items

A shrewd backpacker needs a good multi-tool with various functions. A pen knife is a good example of one tool with multiple functions. It is light and small and can perform more than one job. Use it for opening cans, slicing veggies, and scissors to trim your nails.

Makeup Essentials

Pack a Liquid foundation in a light plastic container.  It can be blended with your hands for the perfect glow. You don’t have to go with all your makeup brush collection. Go for waterproof eyeliner whenever you can.  You can pick the right brown eyeshadow; this can double as an eyebrow powder too.

When you travel your lips easily get chapped or burnt. A handy lip balm to keep your lips hydrated should be packed. Lip health is as crucial as skin health.

Traveling for long hours can cause damage to your weaves and curls. The environmental factors can make your hair dusty or wet. Get the best shampoo for your hair type to wash your hair. Use conditioner to keep your hair from drying out, Use hair oil daily to prevent split ends. A small hairbrush for brushing and detangling your unruly hair. Hair ties to prevent your weaves and curls from getting tangled.

Sunscreen

Any backpackers’ guide should always include the importance of sunscreen can’t be stressed enough. Traveling to a hot tropical country will expose your skin to the sun, so protect your face with the right sunscreen for your skin type (oily or dry). While shopping for sunscreen, look out for the labeled ones with SPF 30 or higher rating. Don’t travel without it. It will protect your skin from damage. It can be applied after cleansing and moisturizing and before any makeup.

Sun Hat

Protect your gorgeous face with a sun hat on top of wearing sunscreen. Most of the time we don’t reapply sunscreen often enough.  Packing a sunhat won’t be a bad idea.

Naturally backpackers burn calories, so eating properly and staying hydrated is a top priority. Drinking plenty of water is the ideal way to prevent dehydration. For safety, purchase a reliable water filter bottle that filters chemicals, bacteria, and parasites.
