All aboard for the Ford Experience Tour at the Denver Snow Show for previews of 2013 Ford models.
Ford Experience Tour
A recent invitation to the SnowSports Industry Snow Show in Denver, courtesy of the Ford Experience Tour, this past weekend (February 2, 2013), brought me to Denver’s Colorado Convention Center to get a look at the new 2013 Ford models. My hubby and I quickly found ourselves overwhelmed but the (literally) hundreds of snow-themed displays, from gear to clothing and everything in between.
We first stopped at a non-manned Ford display, with a couple of pretty hot Ford models, before moving to the main display of the Ford Experience Tour. A chat with the folks at the booth (thanks Jennifer!) confirmed that Ford is gearing up to become a leader with the outdoor adventure enthusiasts, thus the presence at the Snow Show.
Although I didn’t get a chance to rev the RPGs of any of the Ford models on display, it was Ford awesomeness at its best. I checked out the Fusion, Escape and C-Max, built for mountain drivers and performance in diverse weather conditions, i.e. Colorado snow! Perhaps that’s why Ford was named the Official Partner of the 2013 SIA Snow Show in Denver, Colorado.
Surprise was the Ford Focus! Yes it’s an affordable ($16,200 MSRP) and fuel efficient vehicle (40 MPG highway), but surprising roomy, even my 6’3″+ hubby found plenty of leg room behind the wheel. Surprisingly roomy.
The Ford Escape got my attention — with its mini-SUV look, Eco-boost giving a green drive to your road trip and plenty of room to pack your outdoor gear. Another surprise — 33 MPG and affordable $22,700 starting MSRP. Ok, I admit, Ford Escape is definitely on my bucket list to test drive! Sweet curves and I can’t wait to see how it handles in the Colorado mountains.
